Beautiful 19th Century, handmade, linen, everyday, English dress. Exquisitely made with lovely detailing including ‘boning’ to the gigot (leg of mutton) sleeves which was very fashionable in this period. Very pretty floral linen fabric.  Hook and eye fastenings. Some staining although good age related condition. This lovely dress is from a very old Westmorland house in the beautiful village of Troutbeck. Perfect for a collector or antique textile hoarder.
